Power supply modules are divided into two main families:
DC-DC Modules and Power Plug
Adapters.
- DC-DC Modules are high efficiency,
step-down switching voltage regulators. Based on the L5973,
these non-isolated modules eliminate the need for external
components. They are suitable for a broad range of applications,
including telecom, industrial and computer.
- Power Plug Adapters are high efficiency
switch mode AC-DC modules.
Based on a self-oscillating architecture, power plug adapters
ensure low standby power consumption. These RoHS compliant
and CE approved devices are suitable for a variety of
applications such as set-top boxes and off-line power
supplies.
