The Teseo platform is a high-sensitivity standalone GPS solution ideal for consumer, handheld, PND (portable navigation), in-vehicle navigation and telematics systems.
The chipset consists of the STA2058 GPS baseband, embedded-Flash device, plus the STA5620 RF front-end.
It combines an ARM7TDMI™ 32-bit microcontroller and a high-performance GPS engine (HPGPS) with a wide range of peripherals (48 GPIOs, 4 UARTs, 2 SPIs, 2 I2Cs, 1 USB, 2 CANs, and 4-channel ADC).
Already available in LQFP64 or BGA144 ST proprietary packages,
Teseo will also be available in a multi-chip module (STA8058)
with the companion RF front-end STA5620.
Teseo devices are automotive
grade compliant (AEC-Q100).

Cartesio™ is an application processor with embedded GPS.
STMicroelectronics is enlarging its infotainment product portfolio with the Cartesio STA2062 system-on-chip. This dramatically reduces the cost of the final application by combining host CPU capability, a high-performance 32-channel GPS correlator and a large set of peripherals and interfaces.
Cartesio+ is the new application processor with embedded GPS of Cartesio family, for next-generation in-car and portable navigation systems. Combining superior processing power and positioning accuracy with a rich set of integrated peripherals, ST’s Cartesio+ enables cost- and space-efficient navigation and infotainment applications with enhanced user experience. Cartesio+ is a scalable device available with two different feature sets: the STA2064 and STA2065, which have been optimized for BOM-sensitive and performance-demanding applications, respectively.
