Click for larger imageThe EVAL6207N is built around the L6207N in PowerDIP package. It implements a typical application enabled to run one to four DC motors or one stepper motor. Screw connectors provide connection to motor supply rail and 5 V reference for the logic inputs, as well as the four outputs to motor windings. EVAL6207N can be hooked-up to practiSPIN interface board (EVALpractiSPIN) through a 34-pin connector. This gives as well direct access to ICs input signals making also possible to provide reference voltages for current control PWM. Four potentiometers set the L6207 reference voltage and off-time for the PWM current control; external reference voltages can be provided by a PWM output of a µC.
EVAL6207N can be used as well to evaluate the L6227N product just adjusting pot settings.
