The EMIF10-LCD01F2 is
a new 10 lines integrated EMI filter device dedicated
to LCD applications for portable devices. This device has been
designed to replace capacitor and resistor networks working to
the controller
and the LCD panel against ESD discharges and to reject
rerouted and retransmitted radiation frequencies in applications
such as:

EMI filter implementation in LCD controller architecture
|
|
The EMIF10-LCD01F2 brings minimum –30db attenuation
from GSM to Bluetooth bandwidths and prevents equipment from
passing EMC standards.
In addition to its noise filtering function, the EMIF10-LCD01F2 also provides
ESD protection and is rated to meet IEC61000-4-2 standard level 4. Thanks
to the integrated double clamping structure, the voltage at
the device output is reduced to 10 Volts when a 15kV surge is applied.
In comparaison with discrete capacitors which can be used to achieve ESD protection,
the EMIF10-LCD01F2 gives
the advantage of minimizing the remaining output voltage to less than
20 volts (when the capacitors can give more than 400 volts) and also
gives a reliable and reproducible clamping voltage value. |
