Signal Schottky
diodes are the most versatile devices in this family. They are
used for routing signal tasks, rail-to-rail protection, RF applications
such as balanced mixers and demodulators. Devices above 100 mA
join the converter application field with rectification tasks,
or discrete OR-ing function. Pin-outs are available in both axial
and surface mount packages.
Power Schottky diodes combine low voltage drop
characteristics with negligible or zero recovery. The range from
15 to 175 V and 1 to 240 A covers all application needs from OR-ing
to 48 V converters and battery chargers to welding equipment.
The package offer is broad, with through-the-hole and surface
mount industry standard outlines. The new features are the avalanche
specification of all types, the 120 V |

|
and 150 V VRRM and the high current
TO-220 and D2PAK devices. Last but not least, the STPS 170 V series,
with its 170 V VRRM and efficient use of its avalanche characteristics,
can replace 200 V bipolar devices with a better voltage drop/recovery/EMC
trade-off result. |
